The TD Ready Commitment was launched in 2018 with a focus on building a more inclusive and sustainable Canada. Through the platform, TD aspires to help Canadians feel confident about their financial futures. To address education gaps across Canada, the bank invests in Early Childhood Education; a sub-focus under the Financial Security focus. This includes support for The Actua National Girls Program, which focuses on introducing girls aged 7 to 13 to the basics of STEM. Across Canada, the program is facilitated by young women who are studying or working in STEM, and they impart the basics of their learnings and passions to young girls who love to learn. I was asked to direct an OLV to highlight this work.
